“There have been several influencing factors for why I ended up being a social worker. My interest in mental health and counseling started in college when taking elective classes in psychology and sociology. I felt passionate about what I was learning and how I could help other people who were struggling. From there, my desire to learn and help others has continued to expand leading to learning new styles of therapy and interventions (such as DBT and mindfulness). Working with clients only fuels my desire to develop as a therapist. I believe it is an honor when someone allows you into their world so that you can walk beside them on their own journey. I look forward to walking with you towards living a courageously authentic life.”
